One Tokyo look a day
Shibuya Today picks one outfit idea each day from the street style of Shibuya, Harajuku, Omotesando and Daikanyama, and shows how to put together something similar with pieces sold in the US.
How a look is made
- We take inspiration from published Tokyo street snaps. We do not show the photos or name the people in them.
- We describe the outfit in words and create a model image with AI. The model is not a real person and is not meant to resemble anyone.
- We then find similar pieces at US retailers and link to them. They are similar to the look, not identical.
How we pick pieces
We look for pieces that match the shape, color and mood of the look at prices a reader can actually pay. Each look shows the date prices were checked and two totals: Clothes (without shoes and bags) and Full set. We do not take payment from brands to feature their products.
Who runs it
Shibuya Today is an independent site run by Tokunosuke from Hitachinaka-shi, Ibaraki, Japan, written in English for shoppers in the United States.
